The Lynedoch Care Charter - our commitment to you
Our 10-point charter outlines our promise to provide you with the highest care and service, as follows:
1. We employ both carers and home helps and are therefore able to provide a service for a wide range of needs, from a once a fortnight
house clean to 24/7 care, and everything in between.
2. We realise how important continuity of staff is, and we endeavour to preserve
it throughout a booking where at all possible.
3. We are available to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We take the telephone home
with us out of office hours to ensure there is always someone there for you.
4. We view assessment of need as an ongoing process,
and undertake to review your needs on a continual basis.
5. We take instructions from you and your main advocate as to who would
like to be involved in the regular review and assessment of your care plan, to ensure the people important to you are kept informed.
6. All our carers are experienced in care work. They are able to provide unsupervised assistance with all Activities of Daily Living
(ADL), according to your assessed need.
7. All our home documentation complies with the National Care Standards and is updated at
every visit to ensure continuity between carers.
8. All our workers go through induction training at our own Training Suite before
being placed with clients, and are conversant with the National Care Standards. All our staff are regularly updated with training
sessions, staff meetings and newsletters to keep them compliant with current best practice.
9. We send out regular updates to all
our clients by way of a newsletter. We also give all our clients a chance to have their say about our services by means of quality
assurance questionnaires and opinion cards.
10. Because we are a smaller, independent provider of services, we are able to react
to your needs and requirements quickly.
